Job Title: Guidewire PolicyCenter / ClaimCenter / BillingCenter Developer (Configuration & Integration)
Location: Pan-India (Remote)

Roles & Responsibilities

 

• Configure, customize, and enhance Guidewire PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter per business requirements
• Develop and maintain integrations between Guidewire apps and third-party systems using Guidewire integration frameworks
• Design/develop business rules, workflows, UI enhancements, application configurations
• Develop and maintain Gosu classes, PCFs, Data Model Extensions, Typelists, Business Rules
• Build/enhance REST/SOAP Web Services, Messaging Framework, Integration Services
• Participate in solution design, technical architecture discussions
• Unit testing, SIT, and UAT support
• Troubleshoot production issues, timely resolution
• Collaborate with BAs, architects, QA, business stakeholders
• Agile/Scrum: sprint planning, code reviews, releases
• Follow Guidewire dev standards and best practices

Mandatory Skills

• 6–12 yrs IT experience; strong hands-on PolicyCenter and/or ClaimCenter Config & Integration
• Gosu, PCF, Data Model Extensions, Typelists, Business Rules, Product Model (PC)
• REST/SOAP APIs, Messaging Framework, Integration Services
• Java, XML, SQL, Web Services
• Guidewire Studio
• P&C insurance domain (policy admin and/or claims)
• Agile/Scrum

Good to Have

• Guidewire PC/CC Certification
• Guidewire Cloud Platform experience
• CI/CD, DevOps exposure
• Strong analytical/debugging skills
• Stakeholder management, communication

Technical Skills : Bachelor’s degree in Computer/Information Science or Information Systems
Management or equivalent

Minimum 6 years of IT hands-on application development experience

Minimum 4 to 6 years of IT hands-on development experience with Guidewire BillingCenter

9.0 or higher
Proven experience with Configuration and Integration experience with Guidewire
BillingCenter 9.0 or higher
Minimum 3 years of hand on experience with SQL (SQL server/Oracle/DB2)/No SQL related
technologies
Minimum 2 years of experience integrating with RESTful /SOAP Web services
Knowledge of working with monitoring tools like AppDynamics
Strong understanding of object-oriented design best practices
Knowledge of researching and preparing detailed functional specifications
Good knowledge of estimating, planning and tracking development tasks
Experience with debugging production issues and resolving them
Experience with identifying application performance bottlenecks and resolving them
In depth hands-on experience with continuous integration practices, processes and tools
(Jenkins, JUNIT, GitLab) jenkins
Proficient in writing configurable, maintainable and testable code in a highly collaborative
environment
Property & Casualty domain knowledge is a plus
