JD for  Intune Administrator & Application Packaging Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Intune Administrator & Application Packaging Engineer to join our OneLaptop project. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our endpoint management solutions using Microsoft Intune. A significant portion of this role focuses on application lifecycle management, requiring deep expertise in packaging, deploying, and maintaining applications using Intune and the PowerShell App Deployment Toolkit (PSADT).

Key Responsibilities

Endpoint Management: Manage and maintain Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager in a complex enterprise environment, overseeing both Windows 10/11 and macOS operating systems.

Application Packaging & Deployment: Package, deploy, and manage applications via Intune. Utilize the PSAppDeployToolkit (PSADT) for custom application packaging, ensuring proper distribution, version control, and seamless user experiences.

Automation: Leverage advanced PowerShell scripting to automate routine tasks, customize deployments, and apply advanced configurations within Intune.

Cloud Identity & Access: Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) components, including user/group management and the configuration of Conditional Access policies.

Troubleshooting & Support: Act as an escalation point to resolve complex issues related to device enrollment, policy application, application deployment, and identity synchronization/authentication.

Co-management: Maintain and support modern management approaches, including co-management alongside Microsoft Configuration Manager (SCCM).

Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation for application packages, deployment processes, and system configurations.

Required Qualifications (Job Requirements)

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical work experience).

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of proven experience managing and designing Microsoft Intune solutions in an enterprise setting.

Technical Expertise: * In-depth knowledge of modern device management principles (MDM, MAM), endpoint security, and compliance.

Must-Have: Well versed in PowerShell scripting for automation, advanced configuration, and customizing solutions.

Must-Have: Application packaging and deployment in Intune is a must-have, including extensive experience with custom deployments using PSADT.

Preferred Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
