Require a Bank Auditor in Ahmedabad

• Conduct comprehensive audits of banking operations including loan portfolios deposit systems cash management and transaction processing.
  
• Evaluate compliance with regulatory requirements internal policies and accounting standards (RBI IFRS GAAP).
  
• Perform risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in financial processes and recommend mitigation strategies.
  
• Review financial statements ledgers trial balances and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  
• Investigate discrepancies irregularities or potential fraud and prepare detailed audit reports with actionable findings.
  
• Collaborate with branch managers finance teams and compliance officers to ensure audit recommendations are implemented.
  
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving banking regulations and audit methodologies.
  
• Support external audit coordination and serve as a key liaison between internal audit and external auditors.
  
• Prepare and present audit findings to senior management and the audit committee.
  
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of internal control frameworks and audit checklists.
  

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; CA CFA or CIA certification is highly preferred.
  
• 25 years of progressive experience in auditing within the banking or financial services sector.
  
• Proven track record in conducting internal audits financial reviews and regulatory compliance assessments.
  
• In-depth knowledge of banking operations including credit risk cash handling and payment systems.
  
• Proficiency in audit software (e.g. ACL IDEA) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
  
• Strong understanding of RBI guidelines IFRS GAAP and internal control frameworks (COSO).
  
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to present complex findings clearly.
  
• High level of integrity attention to detail and adherence to confidentiality standards.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit assignments under tight deadlines.
