Job Description :Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe, and North America, are looking for Consultants to be part of the project.The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance, and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising, and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.You will be working in a newly set-up technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.Responsibilities :1. Application Development & Enhancement :- Develop, enhance, and maintain Core Banking applications related to :a. Loans & Creditb. Limits Managementc. Collateral Managementd. Provisioning systems- Perform impact analysis and implement change requests and defect fixes.- Develop functionalities using :a. RPGb. C2. Loans & Credit Systems Support :- Support systems handling :a. Retail and Wholesale lending productsb. Counterparty credit limitsc. Collateral lodgement and revaluationd. IFRS9 and NPL provisioning calculations- Ensure application stability and operational continuity.3. DevOps & Deployment Support :- Support DevOps and deployment activities within AS400 environments.- Work with :a. Rocket Aldon for deployment automation and migration- Support controlled deployment to test and production environments.4. Database & Platform Support :- Work with :a. AS400/DB2 environments- Analyse and troubleshoot application and database issues.- Support batch processing and integration activities.5. Testing & Production Support :- Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities.- Troubleshoot production issues and provide bug fixes.- Support post-deployment validation and production stabilization.6. Documentation & Coordination :- Maintain technical and deployment documentation.- Coordinate with business, testing, infrastructure, and support teams.Mandatory Skills :- IBM i (AS400)Mandatory Skills Description :- 3- 5 years of experience in AS400 application development- Strong hands-on experience in :a. RPGb. C programming- Experience working with :a. AS400b. DB2- Experience in Core Banking or lending systems- Exposure to DevOps and deployment activities- Experience with :a.
