Position: Assistant Professor Communication Skills
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Assistant Professor / Faculty Member for Communication Skills to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in English Communication, Soft Skills, Professional Communication, and Employability Skills, along with proven experience in teaching and training students.

Mandatory Qualification

Ph.D. in English, Communication, Linguistics, Education, or a relevant discipline; OR
UGC-NET Qualified in English / relevant subject.

Experience

Candidates should have prior experience teaching Communication Skills to undergraduate/postgraduate students.
Experience in teaching English Communication, Soft Skills, Professional Communication, Business Communication, Presentation Skills, Group Discussions, Interview Skills, and Personality Development will be preferred.
Experience in conducting communication-skills workshops, employability training, or placement-oriented training will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Teach Communication Skills and English language courses to college/university students.
Develop and deliver engaging classroom sessions, activities, presentations, and practical exercises.
Train students in: 
Verbal and written communication
Business/Professional Communication
Public speaking and presentation skills
Group discussions and debates
Interview and employability skills
Email and professional writing
Vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and fluency
Personality development and workplace etiquette
Assess students' communication and language proficiency.
Prepare lesson plans, course materials, assignments, and assessments.
Conduct workshops and activities focused on improving students' confidence and employability.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree in English, Communication, Linguistics, Education, or a related discipline.
Ph.D. or UGC-NET qualification.
Strong command of spoken and written English.
Experience working with undergraduate/postgraduate students.

Candidates with experience in colleges/universities, professional communication training, soft-skills training, employability skills, or placement training will be given preference.
