General manager/ VP- Projects

Position: GM / VP – Projects | Utility-Scale Solar (IPP) Location: Gujarat, India Project Scale: ~400 MW Solar IPP We are a fast-growing Solar IPP seeking an experienced GM / VP – Projects to lead end-to-end execution of a large utility-scale solar project in Gujarat. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on delivering complex projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance. What You Will Do Lead end-to-end execution of utility-scale solar projects (land readiness to commissioning & handover) Own schedule, cost, quality, HSE, ESG, and regulatory compliance Manage EPC contractors, multi-vendor packages, and large site teams Ensure strict adherence to PPA, EPC, O&M, and statutory requirements Drive design optimization, risk mitigation, and execution governance Coordinate with DISCOMs, SLDC, state authorities, and local stakeholders Who We’re Looking For 15–20 years of experience in solar project execution (IPP / EPC / OEM) Proven delivery of 500 MW+ solar portfolio , including 100 MW+ single project Strong command over EPC contracts, LDs, performance guarantees, and construction risk Experience leading large, multi-disciplinary project teams Engineering background ( B.E./B.Tech ); MBA is a plus Why This Role?
