Senior Java Full Stack Engineer - Google Cloud Platform

Job Summary :We are seeking a highly technical Senior Full Stack Java Developer with a platform-centric mindset to design, develop, and scale our core application ecosystems. In this role, you will be responsible for building high-performance, reusable backend microservices using Java and Spring Boot, alongside modular, user-friendly frontend interfaces using both React and Angular. The ideal candidate is a seasoned Level 3 engineer who bridges the gap between complex software delivery and strategic platform engineering. You will focus on delivering product value through the creation of underlying reusable services that other product teams can leverage, establishing comprehensive testing strategies, managing automated CI/CD pipelines, and identifying tech feasibility to mitigate risk across our GCP cloud infrastructure.Key Responsibilities :- Full-Stack Core Engineering: Design, develop, and maintain secure distributed backend microservices using Java/Spring Boot paired with modern, high-fidelity user interfaces utilizing React and Angular frameworks.- Platform & Reusability Focus: Focus on designing underlying services, shared utilities, and foundational technical platforms optimized for re-use across multiple engineering product lines.- Technical Leadership & Blockers: Serve as a senior technical guide to actively identify, troubleshoot, and remove delivery risks and technical blockers for other software engineers.- Cloud & CI/CD Governance: Build, optimize, and maintain automated continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to deploy scalable application components securely onto Google Cloud Platform (GCP).- Testing Strategy & Automation: Formulate end-to-end testing strategies, structural test cases, and stable mock test data across multi-system dependencies while introducing automated testing tools.- Backlog & Risk Assessment: Collaborate with product owners to evaluate business priorities and technical feasibility, helping to shape backlogs, chart dependencies, and proactively mitigate engineering risks.- Performance Engineering: Proactively monitor and evaluate production application metrics, resolving runtime bottlenecks and identifying opportunities to adopt emerging technologies.Skills & Qualifications:Required Technical DNA:- Backend Mastery: Advanced production-level development experience using Java, Spring Boot microservices, and secure API patterns.- Frontend Versatility: Practical coding fluency in both React and Angular UI frameworks (Advanced practical mastery in 1 language, or proficient across 2 coding language stacks).- Cloud & DevOps: Strong hands-on experience navigating Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructures alongside automated CI/CD pipelines.- Tenure: 6+ years in IT, with at least 4 years of dedicated hands-on experience in full-stack product development.Preferred Qualifications:- Proven background creating shared core libraries, SDKs, or platform services for cross-team consumption.- Deep understanding of automated application testing capabilities, performance monitoring tools, and Agile workflow management.
