Import Sales Executive

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Import Sales Executive role based in Dwarka. The Import Sales Executive is responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities for import freight services, maintaining and growing relationships with existing clients.

The Import Sales Executive will conduct market research, monitor competitor activity, and contribute to sales strategies to achieve revenue and margin targets. Day-to-day activities include prospecting, client meetings, follow-ups, negotiation, and regular reporting on sales performance to management.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong sales and business development skills, including lead generation, client relationship management, and negotiation.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of international trade and logistics, such as import procedures, incoterms, freight forwarding, and customs clearance.
• Candidates should possess communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present solutions clearly, manage client expectations, and collaborate with internal teams.
• Candidates should possess organizational and analytical skills, including attention to detail, follow-through on queries, and the ability to work with basic data and reports.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in common office and productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, CRM or sales tracking software) and be comfortable preparing quotations and documentation.
• Relevant experience in import sales, logistics, or freight forwarding is preferred, along with a diploma or degree in business, logistics, supply chain, or a related field.
• Candidates should be able to work on-site in Dwarka, manage a full-time schedule, and adapt to a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
