About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Work with the Business Development team to onboard new clients, including fixing and attending client meetings.
2. Support business development activities such as identifying upsell or referral opportunities.
3. Maintain an overview of all client accounts across tax, compliance, and virtual CFO engagements.
4. Periodically check account status and identify any issues or delays not addressed by the Ops team.
5. Flag unaddressed issues or delays to the Business Development senior for resolution.
6. Support client onboarding, including documentation collection and coordination with internal teams.
7. Escalate unresolved client queries to the right internal stakeholder.
8. Share feedback on gaps in servicing and suggest improvements to client experience.

Other requirements

1. Basic working knowledge of the Income Tax Act, GST Act, Companies Act, and other applicable compliance frameworks.

2. Familiarity with how tax, compliance, and virtual CFO services are delivered.

3. Strong communication and relationship management skills.

4. Comfort with CRM tools and trackers.

5. Familiarity with CRM or client-tracking tools is a plus.

6. Willingness to learn about RBI regulations, payment/fintech compliance, and financial reporting on the job.

7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

8. Strong interpersonal skills with the confidence to engage directly with clients

9. Basic understanding of finance, taxation, or compliance concepts is preferred, though not mandatory.

10. Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and email communication.

11. Genuine interest in the fintech and financial services industry.

12. Strong ownership mindset with the ability to multitask and manage multiple clients simultaneously.

13. Ability to work in a fast-paced, execution-driven environment.
