Snowflake Data EngineerSkillsets :- Snowflake (must)- DBT (must)- Snowflake Cortex (must)- Python (desirable)- Strong Analytical skillsetsResponsibilities :- Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data.- Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.- Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.- Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features.- Recommend solutions to improve new and existing database systems.- Educate staff members through training and individual support.- Analyse structural requirements for new software and applications.- Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.- Define security and backup procedures.- Analysing and translating business needs into long-term solution data models.- Evaluating existing data systems.- Working with the development team to create conceptual data models and data flows.- Developing best practices for data coding to ensure consistency within the system.- Reviewing modifications of existing systems for cross-compatibility.Qualifications :- Able to compile and organize statistical information retrieved and present findings to management- Experience working with private and sensitive personal information- Confident in decision making and the ability to explain processes or choices as needed- Strong computer skills and ability to use necessary databases and software- Interpersonal and customer service skills are required when meeting with and interviewing potential clients- Excellent multitasking skills and task management strategies- Ability to complete milestones and work toward multiple deadlines simultaneously- Familiarity with data visualization tools- Proven analytical skills- Experience with team management.
