OneStream/Anaplan/Oracle EPM Consultant

Role Overview :We are seeking a seasoned EPM professional to join our high-performing finance transformation team in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Pune. In this role, you will serve as a strategic bridge between complex financial requirements and robust technical solutions, designing and implementing sophisticated planning, budgeting, and forecasting models. You will collaborate closely with global stakeholders, including finance leadership and IT teams, to translate business challenges into scalable, automated EPM architectures. By driving the end-to-end delivery of these solutions, you will directly influence the accuracy of financial reporting, improve decision-making agility, and optimize performance management processes for our diverse portfolio of enterprise clients.Key Responsibilities :- Architect and configure complex EPM solutions using OneStream, Anaplan, or Oracle Hyperion to streamline financial planning cycles and reduce manual effort for finance departments.- Lead the end-to-end implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, solution design, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring alignment with client-specific business objectives.- Develop and maintain sophisticated calculation scripts, business rules, and data integration pipelines to ensure data integrity and real-time reporting capabilities for executive stakeholders.- Provide expert-level troubleshooting and performance tuning for existing Essbase cubes and planning applications to enhance system responsiveness and user experience.- Mentor junior team members and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to foster a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement within the practice.Required Skillset :- Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying enterprise-grade solutions across platforms such as OneStream, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Essbase, or EPBCS.- Proven ability to translate complex financial concepts-such as P&L modeling, balance sheet forecasting, and cash flow analysis-into functional technical specifications.- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to communicate technical complexities to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear expectations and project transparency.- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing multiple project workstreams in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.- Professional proficiency in collaborating within a hybrid work model, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to drive results across distributed global teams.- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field, supported by 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience.Tags : Anaplan, Hyperion, Epbcs, Hyperion Planning, Hyperion Essbase, Oracle Hyperion, Oracle Epm, Onestream (ref:hirist.tech)
