We are a fast-moving, deeply technical team focused on building real products used by developers. About the Role We are looking for a Frontend Engineer Intern (Fullstack-Oriented) to join our core product team. You will contribute to the user-facing layer of our developer platform — including interactive interfaces, extension-based UI components, and how these connect to backend services. This is not a pure frontend internship. You will get exposure across the stack — from React-based UI components to extension frameworks, API integrations, and system-level interactions. You will also help shape how AI-powered workflows surface to users in intuitive, low-friction interfaces. If you enjoy building fast, intelligent interfaces and are eager to learn across layers — this role is for you. What You'll Work On AI Chat Interface — Contribute to building and improving the primary user interface: a React-based WebView embedded inside the product. This includes the chat panel, tool call visualizations, file diff views, streaming output, and agent state UIs. VS Code Extension Development — Work with TypeScript in the VS Code extension host. Assist in implementing commands, activity bar contributions, webview providers, and lifecycle hooks. gRPC / Protobuf Communication Layer — Support the proto-first message passing system that connects the extension host and WebView UI. Learn to define RPCs and integrate services. Agent Tooling UI — Help build UI surfaces that expose agent actions (file edits, terminal output, browser actions) and allow users to review and guide them.
