Senior Embedded Software Architect

Job Description :Key Responsibilities :- Design and architect robust, scalable, and high-performance embedded software solutions.- Lead the development of real-time embedded applications across multiple hardware platforms.- Develop and optimize software for ARM and RISC/RISC-V-based processors.- Design and implement device drivers, middleware, and hardware abstraction layers.- Work closely with hardware, firmware, and product engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.- Develop software for communication interfaces such as USB, UART, CAN, Ethernet, and RTU.- Analyze and optimize system performance, memory usage, and real-time responsiveness.- Perform debugging and troubleshooting using tools such as JTAG debuggers and Oscilloscopes.- Drive software architecture reviews, design documentation, and coding standards.- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle.- Promote Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and continuous integration processes.Required Skills & Experience :- 10+ years of experience in embedded software architecture and development.- Strong experience in Real-Time Embedded Systems and RTOS environments.- Hands-on expertise with :1. ThreadX (Mandatory)2. FreeRTOS3. VxWorks- Strong programming skills in :1. C2. C++3. Python- Experience with embedded communication protocols :1. USB2. UART3. CAN4. Ethernet5. RTU- Strong understanding of ARM and RISC/RISC-V processor architectures.- Experience in developing device drivers and hardware interface software.- Hands-on experience with debugging tools such as :1. JTAG2. Oscilloscope- Proficiency in UML Modeling, Agile development methodologies, and DevOps practices.- Strong understanding of software optimization, performance tuning, and embedded system architecture.Preferred Qualifications :- Experience in end-to-end embedded product development.- Proven experience leading embedded software teams and mentoring engineers.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.- Experience with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, and software quality processes.
