Job Overview:

The role involves managing end-to-end AP and finance operations, month-end closing, reconciliations, GST/TDS and statutory compliances, banking, audits, and MIS reporting.

Requirements

Education & Experience

• Education: M.Com or MBA in Finance.
• Experience: 5 to 8 years of relevant hands-on experience in corporate finance, accounts payable, taxation, and statutory compliances.

Technical & Functional Skills

• Strong technical working knowledge of Direct & Indirect Taxation (GST, TDS, Tax Audits).
• Hands-on experience in Accounts Payable management and MSME compliance tracking.
• Demonstrated capability in statutory audit management and month-end financial close.
• Proficiency in ERP platforms such as Oracle NetSuite, Tally, or similar accounting software.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office tools (MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).

Soft Skills & Attributes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
• Strong analytical, time-management, and problem-solving abilities.

Role & Responsibilities

Accounts Payable & Operations Management

• Independently manage the complete Accounts Payable (AP) process, ensuring three-way matching across purchase orders, goods/services rendered, agreements, delivery challans, and departmental approvals.
• Process vendor payments accurately within agreed credit terms and track MSME vendors to comply with regulatory standards.
• Oversee employee reimbursement workflows and invoice management systems.
• Manage inter-company transactions, recharges, and monthly inter-company reconciliations.

Month-End Closing & Financial Accounting

• Manage month-end financial closing activities, including the preparation of Fixed Asset Register (FAR), prepayments, accruals, and provisions for leave encashment and gratuity.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet schedules, journal entries, and general ledger accounts.
• Perform daily bank balance reviews and monthly bank reconciliations.

Direct & Indirect Taxation & Statutory Compliance

• Handle GST compliance including timely filing of monthly returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), input tax reconciliations (GSTR-2B/IMS), annual returns (GSTR-9 & 9C), and GST refund processing.
• Oversee Direct Tax compliances, including monthly TDS calculations, deposit, quarterly returns, and coordination with tax consultants.
• Ensure timely deposit and filing for statutory liabilities including PF, ESI, Labour Welfare Fund (LWF), and Professional Tax (PT).
• Banking, Audits & MIS Reporting
• Oversee banking operations, cash flow statements, fund transfers, and inward/outward remittances.
• Facilitate statutory, internal, and group audits by preparing supporting schedules, audit files, and resolving audit queries.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports, variance analysis, and MIS details for management decision-making.
