You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, architects, and client stakeholders, to translate intricate business requirements into scalable technical designs. Your work will directly influence the efficiency of global supply chain operations, ensuring seamless order orchestration, inventory visibility, and fulfillment processes for large-scale retail environments.Key Responsibilities :- Architect and implement robust Sterling OMS solutions to streamline order fulfillment cycles and improve inventory accuracy for global clients.- Develop custom extensions, user exits, and API integrations to align the Sterling platform with unique business workflows and legacy systems.- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues to minimize downtime and ensure high availability of mission-critical order management services.- Lead technical code reviews and mentor junior developers to maintain high standards of code quality and performance optimization.- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and ensure project delivery meets stringent quality and timeline benchmarks.Required Skillset:- Demonstrated expertise in IBM Sterling Commerce and Order Management System (OMS) design, configuration, and implementation.- Strong proficiency in Java and J2EE development, with a deep understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.- Proven ability to build and consume Webservices (REST/SOAP) to facilitate seamless communication between OMS and external enterprise applications.- Exceptional analytical skills to diagnose system bottlenecks and implement performance tuning strategies within high-traffic environments.- Strong communication skills to effectively articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead collaborative problem-solving sessions.- Ability to thrive in a remote or distributed work environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and self-management.- A minimum of 8 to 16 years of hands-on experience in enterprise-level software development within the supply chain or e-commerce domain.
