Role : Head IT Infrastructure & OperationsLocation : MumbaiExperience : 18 - 25 YearsQualification : B.E. / B.TechJoining Preference : Immediate Joiners / Candidates serving up to 60 days' noticeJob Summary : We are seeking an accomplished IT Infrastructure & Operations Leader to lead enterprise-wide IT infrastructure, cloud operations, network security, data center management, IT service management, and end-user computing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale IT environments within Software, IT Services, KPO, or BPO organizations, with a strong focus on operational excellence, security, governance, and business continuity.Key Responsibilities : - Define and execute the enterprise IT Infrastructure and Operations strategy aligned with business objectives.- Lead Infrastructure Architecture, Cloud Operations, Network & Security, Data Center Operations, and End User Computing teams.- Drive modernization initiatives across on-premise and cloud infrastructure while ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.- Establish governance, infrastructure standards, operational processes, and best practices across the organization.- Ensure robust data governance, intellectual property protection, and compliance with organizational security policies.- Lead disaster recovery planning, business continuity initiatives, and infrastructure resilience programs.- Manage vendor relationships, technology partners, infrastructure budgets, and strategic investments.- Drive automation, operational efficiency, capacity planning, performance optimization, and continuous service improvement.- Collaborate with business leaders to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology services.- Lead incident, problem, change, asset, and service management in line with ITIL best practices.Required Skills : Infrastructure & Cloud : - Extensive experience designing and managing enterprise-scale IT infrastructure.- Strong expertise in AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).- Experience with hybrid cloud environments, cloud migration, and cloud cost optimization.- Strong exposure to on-premise server infrastructure and enterprise data centers.Network & Security : - Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, VPN, Firewalls, Load Balancers, Network Monitoring, and Zero Trust Architecture.- Experience implementing enterprise security controls and infrastructure security best practices.Data Center & Virtualization : - Expertise in VMware, Hyper-V, virtualization technologies, storage solutions (SAN/NAS), backup, disaster recovery, and high availability.Automation & Monitoring : - Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, Nagios, or equivalent.- Hands-on experience with automation tools including Ansible, Terraform, PowerShell, and Python scripting.IT Service Management : - Strong understanding of ITIL processes including Incident, Problem, Change, Asset, and Service Management.- Experience working with enterprise ITSM platforms.End User Computing : - Experience managing Desktop Support, Endpoint Management, VDI environments, MDM solutions, and Remote Support technologies.Governance & Compliance : - Strong knowledge of ISO 27001, GDPR, infrastructure governance, audit controls, and regulatory compliance.- Experience implementing data governance and intellectual property protection controls.Business Continuity : - Expertise in Capacity Planning, Performance Optimization, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Business Continuity Planning (BCP).Candidate Profile : - 18 - 25 years of overall IT experience.- Minimum 10+ years in senior IT Infrastructure / IT Operations leadership roles.- Experience leading large infrastructure teams within Software, IT Services, KPO, or BPO organizations.- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, strategic planning, and decision-making capabilities.- Excellent communication and people management skills.Preferred Skills : - Enterprise Infrastructure Architecture- Cloud Transformation Programs- DevOps & Infrastructure Automation- Cybersecurity Governance- Infrastructure Modernization- Vendor & Partner Management- Digital Transformation Initiatives (ref:hirist.tech)
