Lead Data Scientist - Machine Learning

Job Summary :We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Scientist to solve business problems using data, statistics, and machine learning. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Python, SQL, Machine Learning, Statistics, and Experimentation, with the ability to translate data into meaningful business decisions.Key Responsibilities :- Work with business and product teams to understand problems and define measurable goals.- Build and validate machine learning models for forecasting, classification, recommendations, and NLP.- Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments to measure business impact.- Apply statistical analysis and hypothesis testing to support data-driven decision-making.- Develop data pipelines and perform data preparation and feature engineering.- Collaborate with Data Engineers and ML Engineers to move models into production.- Monitor model performance, data quality, and analytical results.- Present insights and recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.- Review technical work and mentor junior Data Scientists.Required Skills & Experience :- 5+ years of experience in Data Science - Applied Data Science.- Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL.- Strong understanding of Statistics, Probability, and Hypothesis Testing.- Hands-on experience with Machine Learning and model development.- Experience with A/B Testing, Experimentation, or Causal Inference.- Experience working with Data Pipelines and ETL.- Understanding of production ML and model monitoring.- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
