About the Opportunity
A fast-evolving player in the luxury fashion and premium retail sector, we partner with global haute couture and contemporary designer brands to drive merchandising excellence across flagship stores and digital-first retail channels in India. Our merchandising team crafts compelling product stories, optimizes assortments for high-net-worth clientele, and aligns visual strategy with seasonal trends and sales performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead seasonal merchandise planning for premium designer collections across multiple retail formats, from concept to sell-through.
- Collaborate with buying, marketing, and visual merchandising teams to align product placement with brand positioning and customer journey.
- Analyze sales data, inventory turnover, and markdown performance to optimize stock levels and reduce deadstock.
- Forecast demand for high-margin fashion categories using trend intelligence, competitor benchmarking, and customer sentiment.
- Develop and execute in-season merchandise adjustments to respond to real-time sales velocity and regional preferences.
- Partner with overseas design and production teams to ensure assortments reflect current runway narratives and regional market relevance.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have: MS Excel, SAP Retail, Oracle Retail, ERP Systems, Merchandising Analytics, Trend Forecasting, Assortment Planning
- Preferred: Adobe Photoshop, Tableau, Fashion Forecasting Tools, CRM Platforms
