Business Analyst - Banking and Financial ServicesExperience : 10 - 15 yrsLocation : Trivandrum, Cochin, Calicut, Koratty, Chennai, BangaloreJob Description : We are seeking an experienced Functional Consultant with over 10 years of experience in the Banking and Financial Services domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business and functional analysis, banking product implementation, and stakeholder management. This role requires prior experience working with a System Integrator (SI), delivering large-scale banking transformation or implementation projects, and successfully implementing banking products for customers. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, product teams, and technical teams to deliver scalable, customer-focused solutions.Responsibilities : - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and process flows- Analyze existing business processes and recommend solutions aligned with customer objectives- Lead or support the implementation of banking products as part of digital transformation and modernization initiatives- Work closely with customer business teams, product teams, and technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery- Support functional design, configuration validation, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production rollout activities- Act as the primary liaison between customer business teams, implementation teams, and technical stakeholders- Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and functional walkthroughs- Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), user stories, and other project documentation- Support project planning, issue resolution, change management, and implementation activities throughout the project lifecycleRequirements : - 10+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant or Business Analyst in the Banking and Financial Services domain- Mandatory experience working for a System Integrator (SI) on banking transformation or implementation programs- Proven experience implementing banking products for customers, working closely with business and technology stakeholders- Strong understanding of banking products, banking operations, and financial services processes- Strong business analysis, requirements management, and functional solution design skills- Experience with process modelling, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and functional validation- Ability to understand technical concepts and collaborate effectively with architecture and engineering teams- Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and Confluence- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills- Should be flexible to work across different shifts based on business requirements.
