About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Edit written content to ensure full grammatical accuracy following the Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS) conventions.
2. Apply MGT's internal style and branding guidelines (along with the client's style and branding guidelines, when applicable) consistently across all materials.
3. Review instructional materials lessons, assessments, teacher guides, alt-text, student- facing text to ensure they are error-free, well structured, and clear. 4. 4. 4. Correct issues related to grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, clarity, and tone. 5. Ensure internal consistency across large volumes of content (headings, terminology, formatting, instructions, labels, etc.).
6. Flag potential content issues or inconsistencies for writers, designers, and curriculum developers.
7. Work efficiently under tight timelines while maintaining exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.

1. Experience copy editing educational materials, especially curriculum or instructional content.

4. Comfort working within digital editing platforms (Google Suite, Word, Adobe PDF markup tools, etc.).
