Junior Accountant | Jewellery Showroom | Surat
Location: Bhagal, Surat, Gujarat
Job Type: Full-time (On-site)
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Working Hours: 11:00 AM 7:30 PM
Salary: 18,000 22,000 per month
We are hiring a Junior Accountant for a well-established jewellery showroom in Surat. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to build their career in accounting within the retail jewellery industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Record purchase, sales, receipts, and payment entries.
- Assist with bank reconciliation and cash management.
- Prepare invoices, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
- Maintain proper accounting records and filing systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records.
- Support senior accountants with routine accounting and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
- Good computer skills, including MS Excel.
- Familiarity with any accounting software is preferred.
- Experience with Ornet software will be a significant advantage.
- Good attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications
- B.Com or equivalent qualification (completed or pursuing).
- 02 years of accounting experience. Freshers with strong accounting fundamentals are also encouraged to apply.
