Scopely is looking for an Animation- Intern to join our Bingo Bash team in Bangalore on a hybrid basis!

The Bingo Bash team is home to  bingo, cards, slots  and more! Here you will work on a top-grossing F2P game with significant and growing daily revenues, and help create fresh content for our players.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and creative person to join Bingo Bash’s Animation team and help to create charming and immersive animation experiences. You will be working closely with artist, techart, designers and developers to create animation sequences in Unity, focusing on character, UI, and VFX animation.

This internship is ideal for someone who is eager to get hands-on experience in the game industry and understands the power of animation in enhancing gameplay.

Key Responsibilities

• Ideate animation experience with artists and animators. 
• Animate characters (exp, Santa, elves), UI elements (exp, progress bars), and environment effects (exp, snowfall).
• Design and animate VFX animations.
• Develop animations for UI/HUD and background elements.
• Export and deliver a video demo of your animation sequence that captures the game flow.

Requirements

• Good understanding of Animation principles and art fundamentals. 
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of animation tools.
• Familiarity with game animation workflows.
• Understanding of timing and easing in animation for smooth and satisfying motion.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and visual storytelling.
• Ability to interpret a brief and turn it into engaging and polished animation.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

• Basic understanding of VFX
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX animation principles.
• Familiarity with mobile/casual games.
• Exposure to tools like Unity, Photoshop, Animate, After Effects, or Spine.

• How to work with animation systems and collaborate across disciplines.
• Exposure to high-quality asset implementation and game-ready animation practices.
• Working with feedback loops and adapting animation for production environments.
