About the job
Key responsibilities:
1. Identify and generate new customer leads.2. Meet residential, commercial, or industrial clients.
3. Explain solar products and their benefits.
4. Prepare and present quotations and proposals.
5. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
6. Assess customer energy requirements.
7. Recommend suitable solar solutions based on consumption and budget.
8. Answer customer questions regarding costs, savings, warranties, and financing.
9. Site Coordination
10. Coordinate site surveys with technical teams.
11. Gather required site information for system design.
12. Ensure customer requirements are accurately communicated to engineers.
13. Coordinate with procurement, installation, and service teams.
14. Track project progress from order confirmation to installation.
15. Assist customers with subsidy or regulatory paperwork where applicable.
17. Build relationships with channel partners, builders, and corporate clients.
18. Maintain long-term relationships for repeat business and referrals.
19. Report sales forecasts and pipeline status to management.

1. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
2. Basic understanding of solar PV systems and renewable energy.
3. Sales and customer service skills.
4. Problem-solving and time management.
5. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
6. Ability to travel for customer visits and site inspections.
7. Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
8. Experience in solar, electrical, or renewable energy sales is often preferred.
9. Knowledge of solar system components, installation processes, and government policies is an advantage.
