Content & Social Media Intern - Agra

About the Role

Drishti IAS is looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and execution-focused Content & Social Media Lead Intern to strengthen our digital presence. The ideal candidate should be passionate about content creation, comfortable in front of the camera, and capable of independently managing content from ideation to publication.

This role offers an opportunity to work closely with the marketing team while creating impactful content for one of India's leading civil services coaching institutes.

Key Responsibilities (KRAs)

1. Own Drishti IAS's Social Media Presence

• Manage and maintain the organization's social media presence across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

• Ensure consistent branding, content quality, and publishing schedules.

2. Content Creation & Editing

• Ideate, script, shoot, edit, and publish engaging short-form and long-form content.

• Produce high-quality videos, reels, and graphics aligned with the brand's communication strategy.

3. Brand Storytelling

• Create aspirant-centric content showcasing student experiences, faculty interactions, campus life, and success stories.

• Develop compelling stories that strengthen the Drishti IAS brand identity.

4. Event & Campaign Coverage

• Cover seminars, workshops, admissions drives, orientation sessions, and other organizational activities.

• Deliver real-time content for social media platforms during events.

5. Community Engagement

• Increase audience interaction through polls, quizzes, Q&A sessions, testimonials, behind-the-scenes content, and student stories.

• Respond to trends and create relevant, engaging content.

6. Platform Growth

• Drive measurable growth across all social media platforms by improving:

  • Followers

  • Reach

  • Engagement

  • Video Views

  • YouTube Subscribers

7. Performance Reporting

• Track content performance using platform analytics.

• Submit monthly reports highlighting growth metrics, audience insights, and content performance, along with recommendations for improvement.

Eligibility & Skills

Required Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.

• Freshers with a strong content portfolio are encouraged to apply.

Required Skills

• Comfortable speaking confidently on camera.

• Excellent communication skills in both Hindi and English.

• Basic understanding of the UPSC/Civil Services and Government Examination ecosystem.

• Good mobile videography and photography skills.

• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Canva, VN Editor, Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, or similar software.

• Strong storytelling, scripting, and creative thinking abilities.

• Self-motivated with excellent time management and execution skills.

• Ability to independently manage content projects from ideation to publication.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of social media trends and platform algorithms.

• Basic graphic designing skills.

• Experience managing Instagram, Facebook, or YouTube pages.

• Understanding of analytics and performance tracking tools.
