About the job
The Rehabilitation Therapist will provide clinical skill instruction and implement behavior reduction protocols based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) for children with autism and related developmental disabilities. Services will be delivered in clinic and community settings.
The therapist will also collect and record data, assist with parent training, and support Behavior Analysts and Pediatric Neurologists with clinical assessments as required. Note: This job description outlines key responsibilities but is not exhaustive and may be modified at the discretion of Bombay Autism Pvt Ltd. Key responsibilities: 1. Provide direct client care in both 1:1 and group settings using a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training methods.2. Implement prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols.
3. Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behaviors.
4. Assist in parent and caregiver training in alignment with individualized treatment plans.
5. Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding client progress.
6. Utilize safe and appropriate handling procedures when working with clients.
7. Maintain strict client confidentiality at all times.
8. Support Lead Behavioral Technicians, Behavior Analysts, and Pediatric Neurologists in preparing client-related materials.
9. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized therapy and work environment.
10. Collaborate with the treatment team, including clients, parents, caregivers, and external professionals.
11. Participate in required training programs to maintain and enhance technical knowledge and skills.
