Bank Reconciliation Executive
Responsibilities
- Perform daily, weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Match bank statements with general ledger entries and resolve variances promptly.
- Prepare and post journal entries related to bank transactions and adjustments.
- Maintain and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities and prepare reconciliation schedules.
- Compute, verify and process TDS deductions, prepare supporting documentation and assist with TDS filings to ensure compliance
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of experience in bank reconciliation, accounting or finance roles preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of TDS rules, withholding procedures and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience with accounting software such as Tally or QuickBooks is desirable.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel including formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions and data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and effective communication skills.
