About Kefilo

Kefilo is building a human transformation ecosystem focused on functional nutrition, preventive wellness, gut health, fitness and lifestyle redesign.

We are building beyond a traditional food-delivery model, combining personalised nutrition, healthy food products, 90-day transformation programs, technology-enabled customer engagement and scalable food-production infrastructure.

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Kitchen Expert who can help Kefilo build a scalable, efficient and replicable cloud kitchen model capable of supporting high-volume food production while maintaining quality, consistency, nutrition and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and optimise the end-to-end cloud kitchen model for Kefilo, including kitchen layout, workflow, manpower, equipment and production systems.

• Develop standardised kitchen processes for food preparation, cooking, portioning, packaging, storage and dispatch.

• Build SOPs for kitchen operations to ensure consistency in taste, quality, hygiene, nutrition and output.

• Develop systems for high-volume meal production with minimum wastage and maximum operational efficiency.

• Optimise manpower planning, shift structures, productivity and responsibilities across kitchen operations.

• Advise on kitchen equipment, cooking systems, storage, refrigeration, packaging and other infrastructure requirements.

• Identify opportunities for semi-automation and automation across preparation, cooking, portioning, packaging, inventory and dispatch.

• Develop systems for inventory management, procurement, ingredient utilisation, wastage control and cost optimisation.

• Establish quality control, food safety, hygiene and operational compliance processes.

• Work with Food Scientists, Nutritionists and R&D teams to ensure new products and recipes can be practically produced at scale.

• Develop production planning systems based on demand, menu, subscriptions and customer requirements.

• Analyse kitchen-level metrics such as production capacity, food cost, labour cost, wastage, turnaround time and order accuracy.

• Help build a replicable cloud kitchen model that can be standardised and expanded across multiple locations.

• Support the long-term development of Kefilo's smart and semi-automated food production infrastructure.

• Advise the founding team on operational challenges, scalability, vendor selection and technology adoption.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong experience in cloud kitchen, commercial kitchen, food production, QSR, catering, restaurant operations or food manufacturing.

• Practical experience managing high-volume food production.

• Strong understanding of kitchen layout, workflow, manpower, inventory and cost management.

• Experience developing SOPs and standardised kitchen processes.

• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene and quality-control systems.

• Understanding of kitchen automation and modern food-production technologies is highly preferred.

• Experience scaling or setting up cloud kitchens or central kitchens will be a strong advantage.

• Strong problem-solving and operational management skills.

• Ability to work closely with founders and multidisciplinary R&D/product teams.

• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building a scalable food-tech business.

Key Outcome

The primary objective of this role is to help Kefilo build a high-efficiency, standardised and scalable cloud kitchen system that can produce nutritious and consistent meals at increasing volumes while controlling food cost, labour, wastage and operational complexity.

Compensation

This is an equity-only founding team opportunity at the current stage, with no fixed salary until Kefilo secures funding and stabilises revenue.

Equity will be structured based on expertise, contribution, responsibility and long-term commitment, subject to a formal agreement.
