ETL Testing Lead

Key Responsibilities for ETL Testing : - Validate ETL workflows and ensure accurate data movement from source to target systems.- Develop and execute test cases for ETL processes and data warehouse applications.- Write complex SQL queries to validate data integrity, completeness, and accuracy.- Perform data reconciliation between source and target databases.- Identify, log, track, and verify defects until closure.- Validate data transformations, business rules, and mappings.- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements.- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, execution, and defect management.- Prepare test execution reports and communicate testing status to project stakeholders.- Support regression, integration, and system testing activities.Mandatory Skills : - Strong experience in ETL Testing.- Excellent knowledge of SQL (complex queries, joins, subqueries, CTEs, window functions).- Experience in Data Warehouse Testing.- Strong understanding of Database Testing.- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or Ab Initio.- Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA or ALM.- Knowledge of Unix/Linux commands.- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
