Business Analyst - LOS & LMS

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Business Analyst with 2+ years of relevant experience in the Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS) domain.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lending processes, requirements gathering, documentation, and collaboration with business and technology teams. The candidate will be responsible for translating business requirements into clear functional specifications and supporting the product/technology teams throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyse end-to-end loan origination and loan management processes .

• Gather, analyse, and document business and functional requirements from stakeholders.

• Work closely with business teams, product managers, developers, QA teams, and other stakeholders.

• Prepare BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications .

• Analyse existing LOS/LMS workflows and identify opportunities for process improvements.

• Define business rules, workflows, validations, and system requirements.

• Coordinate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are correctly implemented.

• Review functional specifications and provide clarification to development teams.

• Support UAT , including test scenario preparation, issue clarification, and validation of fixes.

• Understand loan lifecycle processes including lead generation, application, credit assessment, approval, documentation, disbursement, repayment, collections, and closure .

• Work on integrations between LOS/LMS and other systems such as credit bureaus, payment gateways, KYC systems, banking systems, APIs, and third-party platforms .

• Identify gaps between business requirements and existing system capabilities.

• Assist in impact analysis for new features, enhancements, and regulatory/business changes.

• Prepare process documentation and conduct walkthroughs with relevant stakeholders.

• Track requirements, defects, dependencies, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst , preferably in LOS, LMS, lending, NBFC, FinTech, or banking domains .

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end lending/loan lifecycle .

• Hands-on experience working with Loan Origination Systems (LOS) and/or Loan Management Systems (LMS) .

• Good knowledge of requirement gathering and functional documentation.

• Experience preparing BRD, FRD, user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams .

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical/functional requirements.

• Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Good understanding of API/integration concepts and system-to-system data flow.

• Basic knowledge of SQL would be an added advantage.

• Experience with tools such as Jira or similar tools is preferred.

• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Candidates should have a minimum of  70% marks (or equivalent CGPA) throughout their academic career, including 10th, 12th, and Graduation.

Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is someone who has worked closely with lending/FinTech products and understands how a loan moves from application through approval, disbursement, repayment, collections, and closure . Experience working on both LOS and LMS platforms will be highly preferred.
