Workday HCM Functional Solution Architect

Key Responsibilities : Solution Architecture & Design : - Lead end-to-end functional solution design for Workday HCM implementations, enhancements, and transformation programs.- Define target-state HR operating models and Workday solution architecture.- Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions aligned with organizational objectives.- Ensure solution design adheres to Workday best practices and minimizes customizations.Functional Leadership : - Serve as the functional SME across Workday HCM modules.- Provide guidance on business process design, security, reporting, and organizational structures.- Lead solution workshops, fit-gap assessments, and design sessions.- Review configuration designs and functional specifications.Workday Module Expertise : Drive solution architecture across Core HCM, Recruiting, Onboarding, Talent & Performance, Compensation, Benefits, Absence Management, Time Tracking, Learning, Payroll, Advanced Compensation, and Workforce Planning.Business Process Transformation : - Analyze and redesign HR processes to improve efficiency and employee experience.- Recommend Workday-delivered functionality to support business requirements.- Support organizational change and HR digital transformation initiatives.- Identify opportunities for process automation and standardization.Stakeholder Management : - Partner with HR, Talent, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders.- Present solution options, recommendations, and impacts to executive stakeholders.- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.- Facilitate decision-making among cross-functional stakeholders.Governance & Quality Assurance : - Establish solution governance and design standards.- Conduct design reviews and ensure solution consistency across modules.- Oversee testing strategy, UAT support, and deployment readiness.- Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory requirements.Required Qualifications : - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or relevant field.- 8+ years of HCM consulting or HR technology experience.- 5+ years of Workday HCM functional consulting experience.- Multiple end-to-end Workday implementation and deployment experiences.- Experience leading large-scale HR transformation programs.Leadership Responsibilities : - Lead functional workstreams and solution teams.- Mentor consultants and business analysts.- Participate in pre-sales activities, solution demonstrations, and RFP responses.- Support project planning, effort estimation, and risk mitigation.Preferred Qualifications : - Workday HCM, Talent & Performance, Recruiting, Compensation, and Benefits Certifications.- MBA or Master's degree preferred.- Experience in global Workday deployments.
