Data & Information Architect

This Information Systems role involves designing and implementing connected data solutions that integrate data modeling, knowledge graphs, and generative AI to support enterprise transformation. The Data & Information Architect will develop intelligent systems combining structured and unstructured data across pharmaceutical and operational domains, translating business challenges into scalable, production-ready AI products while maintaining compliance and responsible AI practices.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy connected data solutions using information modeling and knowledge graphs for business challenges
- Build intelligent systems combining structured/unstructured data with semantic models and AI capabilities
- Develop proof-of-concept solutions in SQL and SPARQL, scaling them to enterprise-ready products
- Collaborate with stakeholders and engineers to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Ensure solutions align with responsible AI, security, privacy, compliance, and regulatory expectations
Requirements
- Master's degree or Bachelor's degree with 4-7 years in data science, AI, or computer science
- Hands-on expertise in information modeling, knowledge graphs, and generative AI applications
- Strong SQL proficiency for data analysis, transformation, and enterprise integration
- Experience with Databricks or equivalent data and AI platforms
- Familiarity with knowledge graph technologies like Stardog or GraphDB
- Understanding of FAIR data principles in enterprise and pharmaceutical contexts
- Knowledge of responsible AI, compliance, and emerging regulatory frameworks
