Role:  Senior Copywriter

About the role:  

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter with around 3-5  years of experience to develop high-quality editorial content that builds  BeBeautiful as an authoritative voice in beauty and wellness. This role combines AI-assisted content creation with strong editorial judgment, requiring the ability to transform technical and brand information into engaging, credible, and consumer-first stories.  

What you will be doing:  

• Create, edit, and publish high-quality beauty, skincare, haircare, fragrance, and wellness articles for BeBeautiful.  
• Leverage AI content platforms (such as Profound) to generate first drafts, conduct research, and improve content efficiency while ensuring all outputs meet editorial quality standards.  
• Proofread, fact-check, and refine AI-generated content to ensure accuracy, readability, tone of voice, and GEO best practices.  
• Rewrite and elevate articles to deliver a distinctive editorial perspective that strengthens BeBeautiful’s authority and credibility.  
• Collaborate closely with Brand, R&D, Product Innovation, and Category teams to gather insights on product launches, ingredient science, consumer trends, and innovation pipelines.  
• Translate technical product and scientific information into engaging, consumer-friendly editorial stories.  
• Curate and recommend supporting visuals, imagery, infographics, and multimedia assets to enhance article engagement and readability.  
• Ensure content aligns with BeBeautiful’s editorial guidelines, brand voice, and evolving content strategy, with a focus on Gen Z audiences.  
• Stay updated on beauty trends, cultural moments, search behaviour, and AI-driven content opportunities to create timely and relevant stories.  
• Optimise content for discoverability across search engines and AI search platforms through structured, high-quality editorial content.  
• Coordinate with design, SEO/ GEO and digital teams to ensure seamless publishing and content performance.  

What you need to be great in this role:  

• 3+ years of experience in editorial writing, copywriting, digital publishing, or content marketing.  
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail.  
• Experience using AI writing tools (preferably Profound or similar platforms) to accelerate content creation while maintaining editorial quality.  
• Understanding of SEO/GEO principles, content optimisation, and digital publishing workflows.  
• Strong storytelling ability with the capability to simplify scientific and technical concepts.  
• Good visual sensibility and experience selecting or briefing imagery to complement editorial content.  
• Excellent stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Brand, R&D, and Product teams.  
• Passion for beauty, wellness, consumer trends, and digital content.  
• Consistently publish high-quality, authoritative editorial content that strengthens BeBeautiful’s credibility.  
• Deliver AI-assisted content with minimal revisions while maintaining editorial excellence.  
• Improve content engagement, search visibility, and AI discoverability.  
• Successfully translate innovation and product launches into compelling editorial stories.  
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to create timely, insight-led content.
