Senior Manager of Media Data Operations leads business intelligence and data engineering strategy for media and scientific operations in Hyderabad. Responsibilities include overseeing BI delivery, establishing data engineering practices, ensuring platform reliability, and managing cross-functional teams while driving agile operations and stakeholder alignment.
Responsibilities
- Define and own integrated BI and Data Engineering strategy for Media Services Operations with long-term roadmaps
- Oversee BI delivery across multiple dashboards including campaign trackers and competitive intelligence platforms
- Provide senior oversight of data engineering foundation including ingestion, transformation, and quality management
- Lead MSO's Agile operating model, backlogs, prioritization, and release governance across BI and data teams
- Serve as senior escalation point and strategic leader across brand teams, Decision Sciences, and external vendors
Requirements
- Master's, Bachelor's, or PhD in Data Engineering, Information Systems, or related quantitative field
- 12-15 years in media analytics, digital data ops, or MarTech with 3+ years people management
- Deep knowledge of digital media ecosystems and campaign data flows from ad platforms to dashboards
- Proven success designing and scaling data platforms on AWS, Databricks, or equivalent cloud infrastructure
- Strong delivery leadership and stakeholder management across marketing, engineering, and vendors
- Pharma industry or regulated domain experience preferred
- Familiarity with campaign activation tools and taxonomy/tagging standards preferred
