Role Summary
This position serves as a vital link in the IT Services sector, specifically within the logistics and delivery framework for Amazon Minutes. The Delivery Associate is responsible for ensuring the efficient and timely movement of packages from distribution centers to final destinations. This role is critical for maintaining customer satisfaction and operational excellence by managing the complexities of last-mile delivery, handling sensitive financial transactions, and ensuring accurate documentation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to punctuality, safety, and professional service in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute safe and efficient package delivery to customers within assigned zones, prioritizing on-time arrival.
- Manage last-mile delivery operations by planning optimal routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
- Handle cash collection and accurately record payments received from customers during deliveries.
- Prepare and maintain all necessary delivery documentation, ensuring compliance with company protocols.
- Perform physical package handling duties, including sorting, loading, and unloading goods with care.
- Coordinate with dispatch teams to update delivery statuses and resolve any logistical issues that arise.
- Adhere strictly to time management schedules to meet daily delivery targets and service level agreements.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience in customer service with a focus on client interaction and problem resolution.
- Demonstrated proficiency in package handling and logistics operations.
- Strong capability in managing cash transactions and maintaining accurate payment records.
