Job Overview
An established manufacturing organization is looking for a Corporate Quality MIS Analyst to support quality data management, reporting, and performance analysis across multiple manufacturing locations. This role will focus on consolidating quality metrics, preparing management reports, identifying trends, and driving data-based decision-making within the quality function.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidate quality MIS reports and performance data from multiple plants.
- Track and analyze key quality metrics such as PPM, rejection rates, rework, FPY, customer complaints, CAPA, and 8D reports.
- Prepare dashboards, trend analyses, MIS reports, and presentations for management review.
- Coordinate with plant quality teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Identify quality trends, deviations, and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain centralized quality databases and reporting systems.
- Support quality review meetings with data insights and performance summaries.
Candidate Requirements
- 3-7 years of experience in Automotive, Wiring Harness, Auto Components, or a related manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of Quality MIS, KPI reporting, and data analysis.
- Proficient in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, advanced formulas), dashboards, and PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of quality methodologies including 7 QC Tools, 8D, CAPA, and Root Cause Analysis.
- Strong analytical, reporting, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and multiple manufacturing locations.
Preferred Background
- Experience working in a corporate quality, plant quality, quality systems, or quality reporting role.
- Exposure to automotive quality standards and manufacturing environments.
- Comfortable handling large datasets and preparing management-level reports.
