Employment Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced and passionate IBDP Mathematics: Analysis & Approaches (AA) HL Teacher to join our International Curriculum team.The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Mathematics instruction at the Higher Level (HL), supporting students in developing strong conceptual understanding, analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and mathematical reasoning in alignment with the IB Diploma Programme framework.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and deliver engaging and rigorous IBDP Mathematics AA HL lessons aligned with the IB curriculum and assessment framework.Develop students conceptual understanding, mathematical reasoning, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.Prepare students effectively for IBDP internal and external assessments, including examination preparation.Design differentiated learning experiences to cater to diverse student abilities and learning needs.Develop and maintain effective lesson plans, teaching resources, assessments, and subject-related documentation.Provide regular, constructive and timely feedback to students to support their academic progress.Support students with their Internal Assessment (IA), Extended Essay-related mathematical components, and other relevant academic requirements.Monitor student performance and use assessment data to identify learning gaps and implement appropriate interventions.Encourage students to apply mathematical concepts to real-world contexts and interdisciplinary learning.Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to departmental planning and review.Collaborate with the Mathematics department and other faculty members to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery and assessment practices.Participate in parent meetings, student conferences, professional development programmes, school events, and other academic activities as required.Stay updated with IBDP Mathematics AA HL curriculum developments, assessment practices, and pedagogical approaches.Required Qualifications & ExperienceMasters degree in Mathematics or a closely related discipline is preferred.Strong academic background in Mathematics, with the ability to teach IBDP Mathematics AA at Higher Level.Proven experience teaching IBDP Mathematics AA HL in a school environment.Prior experience preparing students for IBDP examinations is essential.Strong understanding of the IBDP curriculum, assessment criteria, and subject-specific requirements.Experience with IBDP Internal Assessment guidance and student mentoring is preferred.Excellent communication, classroom management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.Ability to use technology and digital tools effectively to enhance Mathematics teaching and learning.Preferred ProfileIBDP Mathematics AA HL teaching experience is strongly preferred.Candidates with demonstrated experience teaching AA HL across multiple IBDP cohorts/batches will be preferred.IB training/certification in Mathematics is an advantage.Strong track record of student engagement and academic outcomes.Ability to create a stimulating, inquiry-driven and student-centred learning environment.Key CompetenciesStrong subject knowledge in MathematicsAnalytical and problem-solving abilityConceptual and inquiry-based teachingStudent-centred approachEffective classroom managementAssessment and feedback skillsCollaboration and teamworkDigital literacyStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to continuous professional development
