Hybrid Working
Structured hybrid role:
At Barclays, we offer a hybrid working experience that blends the positives of working alongside colleagues at our onsite locations, together with working from home. We have a structured approach where colleagues work at an onsite location on fixed, ‘anchor’, days of the week, for a minimum of two days a week or more, as set by the business area (or nearest equivalent if working part-time hours). Introduction
Maintaining high quality static data in the bank’s core repository product and time series historical pricing systems through direct input and feed management for multiple asset classes across the broad data set of fixed income, equities, structured product, OTC, Swaps, FX etc.
• Supporting product and pricing data integrity through exception reports, reconciliations, analyses and requests from consumers of the data across the bank.
• To setup the compliance rules and maintain for dealing & regulatory requirement.
• Produce operational metrics to enable the successful oversight of the performance of the IPMDM Operations.
What will you be doing?
Reference or Product Data - Domain knowledge with overall 5 years of work experience. Have a strong knowledge of financial instruments and products.
• Awareness on current market and industry news related to Investment Banking Services.
• Having relevant Investment Banking experience in the previous role.
• Have a minimum of 2+ years in Pricing, Asset setup, Corporate actions etc.
• Have a solid understanding of LEAN principles and have a track record of success in capacity creation, achieving efficiencies and enhancing the Control Environment
• Resource Management and Prioritization of skills
• Excellent command over English, strong written and verbal communication skills and should be able to communicate effectively across all levels
• To play a crucial role in performing/monitoring the checking tasks to ensure the controls are strictly adhered to avoid reputational/financial loss to the organisation.
Skills that will help you in the role:
• Understanding of Avaloq/Charles River platform with the knowledge of data vendors such as Bloomberg and Reuters.
• Detailed and meticulous, consistently delivering a high level of accuracy and attention to detail with high quality output.
• Strong analytical skills required to perform complex analysis on the volumes and process flow to identify the root cause.
• Able to pay attention to detail and demonstrate awareness of internal controls
• Experience in change & Project management activities (Regression testing, UAT etc.)

What we’re looking for:
• Knowledge of Coding & Programming language
• Knowledge of Financial Markets & Instruments ( Bonds, Equities, Rights , Warrants etc.)
• MCA, BE ComputerScience, MBA Finance

Skills that will help you in the role:
• Knowledge in Programming language such as C, C++, Java & SQL
• Experience in Reference Data (Asset setup & Pricing)
• Experience in Development (Coding)
