Principal Analog Design Engineer

Responsibilities :

We are seeking a Principal Analog design Engineer NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT Power Management to join our growing team in Bengaluru India. This group is responsible for development of Power management products including DCDC PMIC/POL Multiphase controllers Dr. MOS ACDC converters LED drivers SiC drivers Switches and efuses for consumer industrial and automotive applications. In this role you will focus on the following

Lead an analog IP block from definition to IP delivery

Evaluate intermediate and results of projects during the design phase and during silicon evaluation to ensure accomplishment of technical objectives

Work with and provide guidance to physical designers and monitors the progress of IC layout

Collaborate with Design Verification teams during the pretapeout phase of a project to ensure completion of all technical tasks before tapeout

Collaborate with validation product engineering and test engineering teams to enable successful transfer to production

Collaborate with overseas design and systems teams on technical aspects IP development sharing of knowhow

Own technical outcomes of design verification implementation and execution of power management ICs with complexities that can span from simple regulators to complex mixedsignal designs and control loops

Understand project goals create a realistic schedule and resource plan track execution schedule to plan monitor progress and provide full clarity to the team on the goals and objectives

Key Qualifications

BS in Electrical Engineering or related 10 years of experience or MS 8 years of experience

Solid track record of delivering multiple complex IPs to manufacturing

Extensive knowledge of engineering processes principles and methodologies

Goal and outcomefocused with the ability to handle multiple projects within the team

Ability to attract and retain key engineering talent

Ability to clearly articulate issues challenges and concerns to all levels of management

Good understanding of various Power Converters such as Buck Boost LDOs gate drivers comparators linear regulators gmstage and relevant Analog building blocks

Good understanding of topologies and architectures for Constantontime Peak and Valley Current Mode Voltage Mode MultiPhase Controllers and Smart Power Stages

Understanding of DCDC PMIC/POL Multiphase controllers Dr. MOS ACDC converters LED drivers SiC devices and drivers is a strong plus

Strong Analog IC design skills debug of complex silicon problems using simulations and/or bench testing

Familiarity with advanced Bipolar CMOS and High Voltage BCD technology Process Device Physics Semiconductor Manufacturing processes and their impact on Analog performance

understanding of large power transistor (LDMOS) Design Layout and Robustness

Proficiency in leadingedge design and verification tools such as Simplis or MATLAB for architectural simulations Cadence Spectre for schematic capture simulation layout and tapeout

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes

Demonstrated strong interpersonal analytical and problemsolving skills

Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
