Role Overview:

As the Program Executive at Agastya International Foundation, you will play a pivotal role in the development, execution, and enhancement of Design Thinking (DT) programs across various Agastya operational locations. Your responsibilities will include program support, monitoring, innovation, training, and collaboration with instructors and teachers to foster an engaging and effective learning environment. Your proficiency in regional languages and your ability to travel will be essential to ensure the successful implementation of Agastya's DT initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

● Travel extensively to various operational DT program locations to oversee program implementation and provide on-site support.

● Collaborate with Agastya teams to monitor the progress of DT programs, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement.

● Continuously generate innovative ideas for the development and enhancement of Design Thinking programs, ensuring they remain relevant and impactful.

● Facilitate and conduct training workshops for Agastya DT program instructors and teachers to enhance their pedagogical skills and understanding of Design Thinking methodologies.

● Work closely with the curriculum development team to contribute insights and ideas for designing engaging DT learning materials and activities.

● Foster effective communication and collaboration among program stakeholders, including students, instructors, teachers, and community members.

● Provide regular updates and reports on program performance, challenges, and successes to the relevant teams within Agastya.

Qualifications and Requirements:

● Master's degree or Bachelor's degree (BTech)

● Any degree in a relevant field such as Education, Design, Innovation, or related disciplines.

● Desirable -Proven experience in program coordination, educational program management, or a related role.

● Proficiency in oral, reading and writing in English is essential. Strong oral communication skills in other languages such as Kannada, Telugu, Hindi, and Tamil are highly advantageous.

● A deep passion for Design Thinking, education, and community development.

● Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

● Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

● Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively to support program implementation.

● Previous experience in program management, curriculum development, teacher training, or instructional design is a plus.
